Blogging Hosting Account
How To Set It Up (iPage)
When it comes to blogging I always recommend using a self-hosted blog (Paid Blog) vs a Free one, the reason for this is that you have more control over your blog and it can’t be shut down by mistake or due to some complaints or whatever the case. When you are using Blogger or Free WordPress you are pretty vulnerable, blogging takes time and effort so the last thing you want is for something to go wrong.
If you still want a Free Blog then you can go to my Blogging For Free (Blogger & WordPress) post, there you can find step by step instructions on how to set up a blog for free and in just 10 minutes.
In this post I will give you instructions on how to set up a Hosting account with either iPage or Godaddy to set up your own self hosted blog.
Another advantage of hosting your own blog is that you can start making web pages, you can make lead capture pages for your program, products or friends and start learning all about HTML, programming and more, you are just one step closer in becoming a webmaster.

Hosting Providers – iPage & GoDaddy
These days getting a hosting account is really cheap, so getting started will only cost you few dollars out of pocket and at the same time you will always have a Full Money Back Guarantee just in case you decide you no longer want to keep your hosting account.
Ipage offers Shared Hosting for a very affordable price, you will be charged only few dollars a month to a total of $50 – $70usd in an entire year.
You will have unlimited disk space and enough traffic to get as many people as you can to your website and the support is really fast, the downside is that if you become really big then you will have to change to another provider like the one below because they do not offer dedicated servers.
GoDaddy Hosting Provider
Godaddy is a bit more expensive than iPage when it comes to hosting but they offer all types of products, if your website becomes really big you just need to upgrade your package and they are one of the biggest domain and hosting providers in the world.
The cost is about $100usd per year.
My suggestion is that you go for iPage, its cheaper and it will provide everything you need to get your blog started, if in the future you want to go bigger then changing servers won’t really be a problem. On top of that I am using iPage and I can provide direct support if you have questions.

* If you can afford it go directly for the maximum time allowed when buying, if you buy 1 year you get a price, if you buy 2 years the price gets even better and the longer you commit the better the deal.
* Read everything closely before completing your payment.
